To Ms. Shah,
Kris and I would like to thank Ms. Shah for the wonderful job she has done as Dominic's teacher and mentor over the last 3 years. Looking back, we reflect on how time has gone by so fast...and in thinking about this....we realize it's gone by so fast because Ms. Shah has made Dominic's education so easy for us. You know, when things aren't going very well, or when you're always having to look over someone's shoulder, time does not just "fly by". We have felt so taken care of by Ms. Shah....and so pleased with Dominic's progress, that we never had to consider intervening or worrying about the education Ms. Shah was providing. After 5 years at Bluebonnet, Dominic will be transitioning to LT Elementary. A couple of weeks ago, I took Dominic along with some of his math and science work, to meet the Vice Principal there. When we showed her Dominic's work, which is the same work that many of Ms. Shah's students do, her eyes literally popped out of her head! This, she said, was 4th, 5th and 6th grade math and science! Upon hearing that, it again confirmed to me what an amazing teacher Ms. Shah is. With her guidance and her willingness and capability to introduce and explain complex subjects to her students, her students have benefited immensely by not only gaining the knowledge of the subject, but also, so importantly, gaining self confidence. At a recent Parent-Teacher conference, I talked to Ms. Shah about how I might deal with problems that come up with future teachers who don't know my child so well, and who frankly, won't take the time to get to know their students so well. She assured me that "the line was always open'" and that I could contact her at any time in the future to discuss issues that might come up. At that point, I realized...Ms. Shah not only feels responsible for Dominic's education up to this point, but she also comes with a lifetime warranty! Last year, in a bit of a rocky period, Ms. Shah again showed her willingness and heartfelt desire to find the best solution to a problem. Instead of retreating from the problem, Ms. Shah engagingly embraced it and offered us numerous suggestions. The one we chose was enrolling Dominic in Tae Kwon Do! With the guidance of Master Chris, this suggestion has proven to be an extremely good choice. Thank you Ms. Shah for that proactive suggestion. Ms. Shah, thank you so much for engaging so completely with our son. You have played a major role in launching him toward any goal he may aim for! I'd like to end by reading a poem from Kahlil Gibran entitled "On Children" which speaks to parents, but also, applies so perfectly to Ms. Shah, because she has been an exemplary mentor for our children: On Children by Kahlil Gibran Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday. You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far. Let our bending in the archer's hand be for gladness; For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

Our daughter loves her school and we are amazed to see all the knowledge she is exposed to and how she is challenged every day. We are impressed with the teaching material, which helps kids to learn in a fun hands on way. For sure this is one of the few places where a six years old can work on algebra, chemistry, geometry, or world geography. The teachers at Bluebonnet are very professional and warm, providing the perfect environment for kids to thrive as smart and empathetic persons.

Thanks, Paola Mieres

Our daughter has been enrolled at Bluebonnet Montessori School for the past three years. She has fully enjoyed her experience there. The teachers are patient, compassionate, understanding and respectful of all the children there. The teachers encourage the children to be imaginative, to be curious, to problem solve, and are continuously challenging them. They worked with our daughter's individual learning style, and each year we saw AMAZING progress. Our daughter is going to Kindergarten with heightened problem solving skills, social skills and academic skills (especially in math and reading) that far exceeded my expectations. But most importantly she will be entering a new school with confidence. I would highly recommend Bluebonnet to help your child get a great educational start during a time in their lives when learning is so exciting and fun!

Our son is truly enjoying his experiences at Bluebonnet Montessori. Every day he gets up eager to go to school with a smile on his face, which lasts from the time he's in the car to school until we pick him up at the end of the day. Bluebonnet provides a nurturing environment where he feels safe and loved while given the educational tools to ensure a most rewarding, successful future.
